How to order online
Orders are delivered on Thursday and Friday – please check the post-code list to find out which day of the week we deliver to your area.

Orders maybe placed up until midday on a Tuesday for delivery that week.

To start the ordering process please enter select a catagory and click add to basket . For those of you who are unfamiliar with ordering online please amend the quantity field alongside your chosen product as required and then click on the ‘add to basket' button to add items to your shopping basket.
You will then be presented with a small message box asking for confirmation of the order for the unit or units.
Click on ‘ok' and you will notice a taskbar at the bottom of the screen, this will allow you to view the value of your order, your shopping basket contents or go straight to the checkout.
When viewing your shopping basket please follow the instructions on screen. You may then continue shopping or proceed to checkout.

Once you are at the checkout please enter your name, address, delivery address (if different),
email address and contact phone number details in the mandatory fields at the checkout stage.
Existing customers please note that we will contact you to provide you with a unique account
password. New customers, we will contact you to let you know the day and approximate time of delivery, means of payment if you have not already submitted your payment details, your unique account password and any additional delivery instructions.

You will notice that many of the products are now represented in fixed quantities.
This is to aid the online ordering process and to act as a better guide to prices, however weights and prices shown in your shopping basket are approximate.
For example steaks are now specified as a 250g unit, if you require a larger cut please order a 250g unit and then stipulate the size you require in the additional comments box at the checkout stage.

The fruit and vegetables are priced per kilo and can be order in kilos or fractions of a kilo. For example, Conference pears are priced at £1.70 per kilo.
These can be ordered in the following ways: 0.25 for 250g, 0.5 for 500g, 1.5 for 1.5kg. Please do NOT put a letter after the weight required, for example 250g or 1.5kg, as it will not work. Again if you require individual items for example 3 Conference pears then please enter an approximate weight and note the quantity in the additional comments box at the checkout page.

Outside of these times please leave your name and contact number on the answering machine and we shall return your call as soon as possible.

Please note that because all of our home delivery service is hand packed we only deliver on fixed days. If you order with us regularly, your order should arrive at approximately the same time every week. If you are not going to be in when we are due to deliver then please tell us where to put your order, for example at the back of the house or in the porch, and we shall cover it with a waterproof covering if required.

Your order will be delivered in lined plastic boxes and polystyrene chill boxes, which will include ice-packs. Please return them all to us when we next deliver to you so we can re-use or recycle them. This helps to reduce our costs and thus the price of our goods and services plus it also helps to protect the environment.

How to Order by phone

Outside of these times please leave your name and contact number on the answering machine and we shall return your call as soon as possible.
Please do not attempt to leave your order on the answering machine.

Please have to hand the following information:
· contact address, delivery address (if different) including postcode and contact phone number.
· for your selection we require; product description, quantity and preferably product code.
· means of payment; Amex, Delta, MasterCard, Maestro, Visa or cheque.

Please ask us for a printed catalogue and where required a large print version.
For those without access to the internet a Northern Harvest representative will be happy to call on you and explain how the ordering process works.
In particular how you would order the size or weight of Meat products, and the weight or amount of Fruit and Vegetables.

How to Order by Email

Ordering by email can be beneficial to those with only occasional access to the internet, for instance those who use their local library or work-place computer to send out their emails.

We will confirm your email order with a return email.

Although we have anti-virus software please do not send your order as an attachment to us as this only increases the risk of us receiving a virus and corrupting our specialised software package.
